Dream Theater headlining GODS OF METAL ITALY 2007

Dream Theater will be kicking off their 2007/2008 World Tour
on Sunday June 3rd, 2007 with a headlining spot at the 3-day
GODS OF METAL Festival in Italy.

The running order and lineup for that day will be:

DIMMU BORGIR
PORCUPINE TREE

Tickets will go on sale on January 26th.

"On Mike Portnoy's official website, it was reported that on January 26, 2007 the band had finished recording on their ninth studio album. The band entered a New York City studio on September 1, 2006 with sound engineer Paul Northfield. In a Christmas video Mike Portnoy made for his forum members, the band are seen to discuss the first song off the new album (which promises to be another Dream Theater 'epic'), that has the working title "The Pumpkin King". The album is due for an April/May 2007 release."
